I began my journey at Nekos Oy in 1987. When the opportunity arose to purchase a small portion of the company's shares in 1996, I seized it. By 2016, I was presented with the chance to acquire the entire company, and it felt like a natural progression.
Knowing the company and the industry thoroughly, I recognized the immense potential. With the support of key personnel who I also gave ownership stakes to, we embarked on this new chapter together. This collaborative approach paid off, and the company thrived like never before in its history.
From those early days to today, the journey has been incredibly rewarding. We chose to focus our development efforts on material handling systems, with LT Storages becoming our flagship product. The success of this product has propelled our exports, which now make up more than half of our turnover. Seeing our innovations embraced internationally has been one of our proudest achievements.
Our greatest success has undoubtedly been turning LT Storages into a sought-after product on the global stage.
Deciding to sell Nekos was a pivotal moment
We wanted to see Nekos grow and internationalize at a faster pace. While it wasn't an easy decision, it was the right one for the future of the company. We chose MotionTech because their operating model aligned perfectly with our vision for growth and success. We felt a strong synergy with their approach and values.
Joining MotionTech brings numerous benefits. I am confident that this partnership will spur further growth and open up exciting new challenges for our employees. I look forward to seeing how Nekos will evolve within MotionTech.

For fellow entrepreneurs considering similar paths
My advice is to look at MotionTech Group if you seek new challenges and strong partnerships. Personally, I am filled with anticipation as I watch our company become part of something larger, knowing that our journey is far from over.
Looking to the future, IT security will become increasingly important in automation systems, and the integration of AI is just around the corner. These advancements will undoubtedly shape the future of our industry, and I am excited to be part of this evolution.
