Every great company is built by great people. Today, we are proud to introduce Lauren Cassady, Head of Business Support at LAC. Her commitment to sustainability, collaborative leadership, and dedication to empowering others embody what MotionTech values most.
Can you tell us about your role at LAC?
I joined LAC in 2018 as Head of Business Support, initially to help the company achieve ISO 9001 quality accreditation. Since then, my responsibilities have grown to include health and safety, people practice, and HR compliance. My role is all about empowering our teams and ensuring we operate efficiently, safely, and according to all legal standards. The role wasn’t set in stone when I started; I had the opportunity to shape how the business operates. That’s what I find most rewarding.
What drew you to LAC and what keeps you motivated?
I was looking for a personal challenge and knew LAC was a fast-growing, innovative company. I saw it as an opportunity to contribute meaningfully and grow professionally.
The energy here is unique – everyone is driven, collaborative, and supportive. No two days are the same, and I love solving new challenges that help the business and our people thrive.

How does your work support sustainability?
We focus on practical solutions, like upgrading modular components to reduce landfill waste and designing machines that use less power. It’s rewarding to help customers reach their own sustainability goals while driving continuous improvement within LAC.
What do you enjoy most about working with MotionTech Group?
The collaborative mindset. MotionTech values teamwork and innovation, new systems and design improvements, to improve both efficiency and sustainability. They challenge us in a constructive way, to push for better outcomes. That is what makes the real difference.
