Patrick Haraldsson Appointed Managing Director of ITO

ITO is entering a new phase of growth with the appointment of Patrick Haraldsson as Managing Director of the entire business. The move marks an important step in the company's continued development, supported by a more decentralized organizational structure designed to enable future expansion.

Patrick Haraldsson joined ITO as Sales Director at the end of 2025. He previously held leadership positions including Managing Director at Envac and Sales Director at Norrenergi. As of July 1, he has assumed responsibility as Managing Director for ITO's operations in both Sweden and Norway.
A Natural Transition
According to Louise Ringström Grandinson, CEO of MotionTech, the transition follows a clear strategy. "When Patrick joined the company, the mandate was clear: preserve the entrepreneurial spirit that has made ITO successful while building the foundation for the future. At the same time, we had ongoing discussions with Christian and Axel Hagen regarding a transition of the CEO role. Patrick's arrival made the solution feel both natural and well-timed."
Patrick describes the opportunity as both exciting and humbling. "I feel extremely honored. ITO PallPack is a family-owned company that has grown into a business with more than SEK 200 million in annual revenue. The company has built its success through strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset."
People-Centered Leadership
When asked about his leadership philosophy, Patrick emphasizes the importance of engagement, inclusion, and shared responsibility. "We have ambitious growth plans, and achieving them requires everyone pulling in the same direction. I strongly believe in the power of motivated people. That starts with being clear, listening, showing respect, and ensuring that everyone feels included."
Christian Hagen, formerly Managing Director in Norway, and Axel Hagen, formerly CEO in Sweden, will continue in dedicated sales roles within their respective markets.
"We look forward to focusing fully on what we are most passionate about—working closely with customers and developing new business opportunities," says Axel Hagen.
Building a Scalable Organization
Alongside the leadership transition, ITO PallPack is implementing organizational changes aimed at supporting long-term growth. "To continue growing, we need clearer structures, stronger accountability, and less dependency on individual people. However, our employees remain our greatest asset," says Patrick.
The new structure will be more decentralized, reflecting the company's increasing size and complexity. "As the organization grows, decisions need to be made where the expertise exists. We have around 70 employees, and success depends on empowering people to take ownership and responsibility."
The objective is to create an organization that is proactive rather than reactive, where responsibilities are clearly defined, risks are well managed, and growth can be achieved in a scalable way without losing the entrepreneurial culture that has driven the company's success.
ITO PallPack has set a financial target of reaching SEK 300 million in revenue by 2028 while maintaining strong profitability.
Benefits for Customers
Patrick believes that customers will benefit directly from the changes. "Clearer roles and stronger processes will make us more efficient, professional, and predictable. Ultimately, that means an even better experience for our customers."
Preserving the Culture While Looking Ahead
As a company with deep roots as a Norwegian family business, maintaining the culture remains a key priority. "We have a family-oriented culture where people genuinely want to help each other and contribute. That is something we must preserve. By combining that culture with greater clarity, accountability, transparency, and scalability, we can strengthen our identity even further."
Since becoming part of MotionTech in 2023, ITO PallPack has continued to expand its reach across the Nordic region and beyond. Today, the company combines a strong sales and service organization in Sweden with its established Norwegian operations—both of which will remain essential to its future growth journey.
With Patrick Haraldsson at the helm, ITO PallPack is taking the next step toward becoming an even stronger, more scalable, and customer-focused automation and intralogistics partner.
